• Minehead is home to the Minehead Sailing Club. Minehead is often used for dinghy sailing but usually is not home to cruisers who prefer Watchet Marina.
• Wimbleball lake a short drive from Minehead is home to the Wimbleball Sailing Club and the South West Lakes Trust where you can hire sailing equipment for use on the lake.
• Minehead has a lifeboat station which is equipped with a new Atlantic 85 motor boat. Minehead is home to the second largest tidal range in the country. Please be careful when on the water.
